Hey & welcome to my newsletter!
This is brand new to me so I hope you bare with me as I learn and go. This is my first ever newsletter (and writing thing in general). I in no way describe myself as a writer (I struggled with writing essays in college and university), but have a joy of reading and wanted to share that.
Before we get into my first post and what I’m looking forward to reading, I thought I would introduce myself.
A bit about myself:
I’m a single mom of an 11-year-old girl who loves sports. She plays soccer, hockey, is thinking about wanting to try competitive swimming (she does swim lessons currently) and is my favorite person in the world.
I spend most of my free time reading (and admittedly, even while I’m at work).
I have 2 cats, Missy and Tweety-Bird.
I live with my mom and daughter. Picture Gilmore Girls, with the same mom-daughter relationships, but less glamorous.
I work in an academic library in Ontario, Canada. My current job title is Library & Information Technician, but am hoping sometime in the future to pursue my MLIS.
