It’s been awhile since I’ve shared an upcoming release post and wanted to go back to my roots. August also marks the 1-year anniversary of me starting The Book Stack on here. Shoutout to my 56 subscribers! Thanks for sticking with me :)

I haven’t read very many Olivia Dade books, but the ones I have, I’ve enjoyed. This romcom about a girl who has to survive the zombie apocalypse with her hot vampire neighbor intrigued me.
Ngl, I totally judged this book by the cover and it looked cute. It’s a grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity story about a hockey player and the author writing a novel about him.
I’m not a big fan of Emma Lord’s novels, but this one interested me with the premise. It’s an enemies-to-lovers story about rival musicians who performed together before. They reconcile to do a joint comeback album to revive their careers years later.
I am OBSESSED with this series. I’ve been impatiently waiting for this book to come out after flying through the first two. It follows a woman who becomes the assistant to a villain that everyone fears, but of course there’s a slow burn romance throughout the series between the two. You’ll fall in love with the characters because they’re so funny and cute.
Big fan of Willow Thomas here. I’ve enjoyed other series by her and this new series sounded so good. It follows a British footballer who falls in love with his boss’s son.
I’ve been slowly adding to my fall reading list and this one is on it. It’s a slow burn romance about a party planner and a grumpy pumpkin farmer. Sounds right up my alley.
What books are you looking forward to this month? Let me know in the comments.
