Christmas is my fav holiday in the year. As soon as Remembrance Day is over, it’s game time for me. It’s time to decorate and play all the holiday music and bake cookies and watch every holiday movie within a month and a half. I buy matching Christmas jammies and we have a Christmas Eve tradition we do every year. One thing I refuse to do each year is Elf on the Shelf. I am just not that creative nor do I have time to come up with something different every night. My daughter has asked why we don’t have one and the reason I gave is our family doesn’t have an Elf on the Shelf. I never had one and neither did her grandparents. She was pretty okay with that explanation. I’ve compiled a list of all my favorite things to watch, bake, and every other thing you can think of during the holidays.

Every year I read Josie Silver's One Day in December. I look forward to curling up and having my heart explode and expand. My daughter and I also watch Love Actually, The Rise of the Guardians and Krampus every year :)
