I’m introducing a new monthly feature today that summarizes everything I’m consuming. I previously shared it in my monthly reading recap, but decided to make it its own post. Feedback is always welcome!
Say hello to my lil’ collage! I’m depicting each component of my R.E.P.O.R.T. and I’m loving it. I’m not normally one to take a bunch of photos, so this is inspiring me to use my camera more. I usually only take photos at special events and outings with my family and almost never take selfies. I feel like I’m not very photogenic since I’ve recently gained a bit of weight. I’m in my feelings about it, but learning to embrace it.
Reading - This article on Refinery29 about how social etiquette seems to be a thing of the past. I resonated with this since I feel the same way as the author does. There seems to be no consideration for other people in today’s society and it irks me how we got here. I also recently started my December Book of the Month pick, The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter. I’m enjoying it a lot and am loving the banter between the MCs.
Eating - My favorite meal that I’ve eaten recently has been Chicken Fettucine Alfredo. There’s a local store in my city that has premade meals and my mom and I pick up a couple once a month. We rotate between our favorites which include perogies, roast beef and mashed potatoes and chicken fettucine alfredo. Their chicken fettucine alfredo is a big hit in our house and we end up leftovers for lunches the next day. It’s a big money-saver.
Playing - I’ve been listening to my Top Tracks of 2024 playlist from my Spotify Wrapped. Of course one of my most listened to genres was Pink Pilates Princess along with everyone else, so mine consists of Taylor, Sabrina, Chappell and Olivia. I also had some throwbacks from the 90s and early 2000s, which was a treat. What was in your Top Tracks playlist?
Obsessing - I’ve been obsessively playing South Park’s Snow Day on our Nintendo Switch recently. I love South Park as the mindless show it is and thoroughly enjoyed the first two games they released. This one is different than the first two, but just as fun.
Recommending - I recently bought the pack of holiday Blistex chapsticks since my daughter and I get dry lips every winter. I’m loving the Peppermint and Sugar Plum Dream flavors. I highly recommend these if you’re like us and need something that works well with a nice holiday twist.
Treating Myself - My mom, daughter and I have been enjoying all things holiday. Since my dad passed on Easter, we’ve been getting into a routine of sorts between the 3 of us in the house and have embraced the holiday season. Our house is very festive and have been treating ourselves to new traditions and decorations. We recently went to our local Botanical Gardens for their Winter Wonders event and it was such a nice time to stroll along and look at the lights in the gardens. They make it so festive with fire pits, hot cocoa and treats to enjoy. They featured one of my photos of the event on their Instagram, which I featured in the collage above.

Hope to see you here again,
