upcoming book releases vol. 3: a new tbr feature, a cozy recipe, and life updates
september 9 - 15 '24
I’ve been pondering this newsletter and what I could do with it. I was thinking that for this featured post, I can share a little life update, maybe something I’m watching or cooking this week and what I’ve added to my tbr recently. The literary world is ever expanding and business is booming. There are new books constantly being released so I always find it interesting to see what people are reading and adding to their to-be-read shelves.
This week’s recipe is Chocolate Cake. I got this in my Goodfood box, which is a local Canadian meal box. They did a Camp Goodfood for kids in the summer and this was the final recipe. My daughter and I are excited to bake this together since we’ve never baked a cake before.

I wanted to note that the releases I add are the ones I have on my tbr. There are many more outside of these releases, but these are the ones on my GR tbr. This is why the list features a lot of mm romance, which I know is not everyone’s cup of tea. It is a very understated romance genre in my opinion, but one I enjoy over hetero-romance novels. The community of mm romance is large online, but one not many know of.
Note that each week will vary in genres, so while this week only features mm romance, next week may have more genres and not any mm romance.
Hope to see you here again,
Kirsten
