watching, reading, added to tbr
I feel like in fall I’m out and about a lot more and my social calendar is filled in the month of October. September brings the start of hockey season for those who are hockey moms like myself. It means weekends are no longer your own because they are broken up in the day with a mid-day game or practice. My daughter plays house league hockey so majority of games and practices are on the weekends. In addition to all the hockey, fall brings gorgeous weather so on the weekends I hike or am doing something fall-related such as the pumpkin patch, our Great Pumpkin Trail adventure at our local Botanical Gardens or costume prepping (I’m lucky my daughter is very crafty and makes most of the pieces of her costumes herself).
With all that being said, I do enjoy the family time and the more relaxed pace of the events. My sister’s birthday was Friday on the 18th so I will be heading home from visiting her today.
Watching:
I caught up on Love is Blind season 7 this week and am eagerly waiting for the weddings coming up. There wasn’t any couple I was rooting for this season, but there are many couples I am not because some of the people I don’t like.
I am also watching Aussie Shore as it comes out each week and it. is. WILD. I was an avid Jersey Shore fan when it was airing on tv and every Thursday was Jerzday in my house. I also thoroughly loved Geordie Shore, so I was excited for Aussie Shore to start. The drama is so messy, I love it.
I haven’t watched any movies lately, but Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown will be watched next week with my daughter. It’s a Halloween tradition to watch them each fall.
Currently Reading:
I finished Dearest and started reading The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden. So far, I am hooked. I loathe work right now because all I want to do is read it all day.
For my eBook, I am reading Strike a Chord by T.L Travis, which is a spinoff series. It’s smut and I love it.
I also started placing more books on hold through my public library using Libby. I have almost 500 books on my tbr tag on there and need to start getting it down. I recently read The Boyfriend Subscription, which was really cute, through Libby. After I finish Strike a Chord, I have All Rhodes Lead Here queued up.
