Hi all! I’m trying something new on here. I’ll be posting every Wednesday and Sunday from now on. Wednesdays will be a more lifestyle type of post or a list of some sort (like today’s post) and Sundays will still be the upcoming release list. I thought with spooky season coming up, I would share my list of vampire novels I enjoy.
The -ber months are my favorite months of the year. There’s just something in the air and I find people seem to be a bit nicer than usual around the holiday seasons
Dracula - Bram Stoker - It wouldn’t be a vampire novel list without this classic. I read it in high school for an assignment and fell in love.
Interview With the Vampire - Anne Rice - I have yet to read this one, but it’s been on my list for awhile. Maybe this October I’ll finally get to it.
Salem’s Lot - Stephen King - This book scaaaaaared the heck out of me. The movie scared my dad a lot when he was younger. It’s added to my watch list because of it.
My Roommate is a Vampire - Jenna Levine - Another one on my tbr. I’ve heard good things on GR about it.
The Penguin Book of Vampire Stories - Edited by Alan Ryan - One I’ve been eyeing for awhile. I also added it to my autumn bucket list.
Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood #1) - J.R. Ward - I read this many years ago and flew through the series. There’s been a few since I caught up that have been released but the original still is my favorite.
Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse #1) - Charlaine Harris - Definitely not as good as the show in my opinion (which doesn’t happen a lot for me). I normally find the book better.
Twilight (The Twilight Saga #1) - Stephenie Meyer - You can’t have a vampire novel list without adding this teen classic. Ngl, fell in love when I was in grade 8 when they came out and still have a bunch of my Twilight themed decor in my room, including my Edward Barbie.
Vampire Academy - (Vampire Academy #1) - Richelle Mead - This series was much better than I thought when I went into it. I was disappointed when the tv series was cancelled after 1 season because it was so much better than the movie in my opinion.
Hope to see you again here,
Kirsten
