As you might have noticed, I’m doing something different with this post. The title is different and you keep scrolling and reading, you’ll notice slight changes to the list. I’ve had a few changes pop up recently in my personal life that will affect how often I can post moving forward. Due to these changes in my life, my mental health has taken a toll and I need to take a step back.
The book stack will now post the new book releases on a monthly basis. This post will serve as the remainder of November’s releases and then going forward, I will post them on the last day of the month for the next. I will still be posting on Sundays, but each post will be an update on life, things I’ve consumed in the media, etc. I’ll also still post my monthly reading recaps. I hope you stick with me as these changes go into effect.
In other news, I chopped all my hair off and now have a nice bob. My hair definitely needed it because it was feeling dry at the ends. It’s been much easier to style, as well, which makes life easier in the mornings getting ready for work.
watching:
I watched Lonely Planet on Netflix and didn’t end up finishing it. It dragged for me and I was bored throughout it, which is a bummer because Liam Hemsworth is so nice to look at. I found not much happened in the movie and I didn’t feel any chemistry between the characters.
Next on my watch list is Hot Frosty on Netflix. After watching the previews, it looks like something right up my alley, especially since I’m such a Christmas gal, which I shared in my Christmas Masterlist.
reading:
I put my holiday reads on hold through my local library so I’m looking forward to those coming in. It’s a long wait for many of them, so I’m hoping they come in before Christmas.
I’m still reading Twisted Games by Ana Huang and I’m really enjoying it. The chemistry between the MCs is hoooooott!
I also finished Fangirl by Tessa Bailey and it was such a fun read! I recommend it if you’re in the mood for a fun, light-hearted romance, with the grumpy/sunshine trope.
