As you may have noticed from my Christmas masterlist post, I’m a bit of a Christmas nut and that includes my reading habits. Around the holidays, I place the maximum number of holds allowed at my library on the holiday books on my tbr. I plan ahead since the wait lists for these books get superlong once December hits. With that being said, I’ve read quite a few holiday romances and I’m listing 10 that I’ve given 4+ stars to on my Goodreads.
Hot Mall Santa - A.J. Truman - A short novella romance between a lowly retail associate at a mall who falls for the Hot Mall Santa. It has a small amount of angst, but overall, it’s a cute, fun read.
The Mistletoe Motive - Chloe Liese - A slow-burn holiday romance about 2 co-managers of a bookstore during the holidays who despise each other but secretly don’t.
Let Your Hearts Be Light - Fae Quin1 - An opposites attract romance between 2 single fathers, 1 who loves Christmas and the other doesn’t. They get matched up for a Christmas Buddies program and love happens.
You Can Count On Me - Fae Quin2 - A friends-to-lovers romance between a single father and his playboy neighbor. A very sweet read and a sloooooow burn.
Juniper Evergreen - Kota Quinn - A strangers-to-lovers romance about mall elves who fall in love. Part of a multi-author series and each book follows a different mall elf at Santa’s Village falling in love.
Grinch Kisses - DJ Jamison - The first in a multi-author series that follows characters in a small Christmas-themed village. This one is about the grinch who organizes the huge Christmas festival in town every year who falls for the guy his sister brings home to meet the family. Each book reads like a Hallmark movie.3
Get Frosted - Amy Aislin - A romance about 2 hockey rivals who are forced to work together to plan a special holiday party. Spoiler alert: sparks fly.
Snowdrop - Essie Sloane - An age-gap romance between a mall Santa and his elf.
Christmas with My Best Friend’s Dad - Raleigh Reubins - Follows a guy who falls for his best friend’s dad when he renovates his house. A short novella, so a quick read.
Ready, Set, Glow - Rye Cox - A grumpy/sunshine romance between the grinchy owner of a Christmas tree farm and his part-time employee. Another Hallmark movie in book form.
What holiday romances did you enjoy? Any you’re looking forward to reading? Let me know in the comments.
Hope to see you here again,
Kirsten
